Life on the Farm
What can we learn
From life on the farm?
While the seasons turn
And the animals inflict no harm.
While I hear the buzzing of the bee,
The grazing of the cow
and the wind in the tree,
I simply wonder how,
Can so many different creatures
Coexist in the same place?
We must let them be our teachers,
As they do not compare color or race.
The cows they do not care
Whether they are black or they are white
The nectar the bees share
After each and every flight.
The largest bull to the smallest fern,
All wrapped in Mother Nature's arm.
What is it that we must learn,
From life on the farm?
